DUNSTABLE – Donald Gerard “Vinnie” Vincent, 81, a resident of Dunstable, MA, for over 55 years, passed away peacefully at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, on Sunday, October 7, 2018 with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Fitchburg on January 5, 1937. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Dow) Vincent to whom he was married for 55 years.  He was the only son of the late Eva (LaFleur) Vincent and the late Gerard Vincent.  Donald graduated from Fitchburg High School, Class of 1956, and was employed at MIT Haystack Observatory as an electrician for over 30 years.  After retiring he enjoyed time with his grandkids and working on projects around the house.  He enjoyed maintaining the private dirt road that he lived on with his Kubota tractor, as well as teaching people how to water-ski.  He was an avid church goer, hardly missing a Sunday, until his illness.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Vincent, his two daughters Karen (Vincent) Fraser and her husband Kevin Fraser of Windham, NH, and Kristen (Vincent) Kosiba and her husband John Kosiba of Dunstable, MA; guardian of Tabitha Flack of Dunstable, MA. He is also survived by five loving grandchildren, Kayla Fraser, Faith Kosiba, Jonathan Kosiba, Kyler Fraser, and Andrew Kosiba.

The family would like to thank all those who helped him during his time of illness.

Don, was such a kind person, always willing to give the shirt off his back to help people out, and never asked for anything in return. It was a pleasure, and a honor to know and work with him. So sorry, you will be missed.
