I have only known Donna for about ten years, having met her though Jonathan. However, Donna accepted me as a friend simply because I was a friend of Jonathan’s, and that was good enough for her.
I will always remember her for her hospitality and warmth that she showed when I would visit with them. She loved to cook and was always looking for an opportunity to cook for someone, and no one would EVER leave her house hungry!
My most sincere condolences to her children and grandchildren, and also to my good friend Jonathan, whom I have known since the fourth grade.
I’m unable to find words to adequately convey my thoughts about her, as there was too much about Donna to put in a few sentences, but everyone should remember, while 1962-2017 are what will be written, the dates are only the front and back cover to the story of her life, the dash is what’s important; that little hyphen contains all that made Donna; wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and everything else from a life well lived.
I’ll miss our friendship, but I’m proud to be able to say that Donna Karvelas was my friend.
My heart is heavy we grew up together we knew one another and she was always my friend she will be deeply missedYour friend George

Please accept our deepest condolences from Middlesex Community College. I was Donna’s advisor and it was my pleasure getting to know her. She beamed when she spoke of her family and her passion for cooking. Although we lost touch, she has always been in my thoughts.
