Doris Elizabeth (Cassidy) Pomerleau, 95, a 65 year resident of N. Chelmsford died Friday, April 24, 2015 at Westford House.
She was married to the late Leo Pomerleau, who died in September of 1959.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Rose Cassidy. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1937.
Doris was employed with Great Bay Lace in Littleton and retired from the Wang Labs in Lowell.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
Doris enjoyed cooking and reading. Her greatest love was her family.
She is survived by one son, Timothy and his wife, Margaret Pomerleau of N. Chelmsford; three daughters, Diane Rigg of W. Palm Beach, FL, Janice Goulet of Pelham, NH and Nancy Pomerleau of N. Chelmsford; one brother, Donald Cassidy of N. Chelmsford; one sister, Constance Shaw of Westford; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and several close family friends.
She was the grandmother of the late Deron Davies of Westford and the sister of the late Paul and Raymond Cassidy.
There are No Visiting hours. Funeral Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church.
