Dorothy Irene (Lett) Liguori of Townsend, MA formerly of N. Chelmsford, MA died Friday, April 26, 2024 in Lowell.

She was married to the late Armand V. Liguori, who died on April 5, 2013.

Born in Somerville, MA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Gladys Lett.  She graduated from Somerville High School with the class of 1946.

Dorothy, along with her husband Armand, founded A & D Roller, INC. of Lowell, MA, from which she retired from in 1998. She previously had worked for Workingmen CO-OP of Boston in the Tax Department. She also worked for several Howard Johnson’s as the Manager.

She was a communicant of Saint John the Evangelist Church of N. Chelmsford where she ran four Christmas fairs. Additionally, she was the first as well as the twenty-eighth President of the St. Barbara’s Women’s Club of Woburn.

She is survived by two sons, Alan and his wife Elizabeth Liguori of Chelmsford and James Liguori and his fiancé Patricia Massa of Townsend; one daughter, Linda Liguori of N. Chelmsford; three grandchildren, Kristina Liguori and her fiancé John Sliney, Alicia and her husband Steven Maske and Alyson Liguori; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two late brothers Thomas Lett of Rio Rancho, NM and Arnold Lett of West Dennis, MA.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Visiting hours Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 from 4 to 8 p.m. at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MDDLESEX ST., N. CHELMSFORD. Funeral Mass Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Saint John the Evangelist Church of North Chelmsford followed by a burial in the Fairview Cemetery, North Chelmsford. Donations may also be made in Dorothy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN https://www.stjude.org/

    My sincerest condolences to Al, Jim and Linda as well as your extended families 💔. Dottie, you will forever be a part of extended family. My most grateful memory is the line up of making wedding favors at your company. For my shower, I showed up with a bathing suit and outer atire on our way to go canoeing and catch a tan!! 👙☀️🛶

    Aunt Dottie was my mother’s favorite aunt. I’m sad I never got to meet her, but eternally grateful for the blankets she made my mom and for the stories Grandpa Tom told about them as kids. Sending love and condolences from De De’s branch of the tree.
