Eileen (St.Onge) McBrairty of Delray Beach Fl. formerly of Lowell

Eileen E. (Lane) (St. Onge) McBrairty, 90 years young, passed away on June 8, 2017 in Florida.

She was the wife of Henry McBrairty with whom she celebrated 27 years of marriage.

She was the widow of John G. St.Onge Sr. who died July 2, 1986.

Born in Lowell in 1927, she was the daughter of the late David and Sarah Lane. She graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1945.  Eileen retired from the Lowell Public Schools where she worked as a librarian.  She was a former communicant of St. Peter’s Church and a member of the sodality.

Eileen was a woman of strong faith who had a zest for life. She enjoyed spending time visiting with her family and friends.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Kathryn Clark and her late husband Paul Clark of Chelmsford, John G. St.Onge Jr. of Lowell, Janice St.Onge of Newburyport and Elizabeth Carey and her husband Edmund of Hampton N.H; step children Michael McBrairty and his wife Cynthia of Chicago IL, Jodi McBrairty and Lori Morales and her husband Michael Morales of Avon, OH She was GG to her beloved grandchildren Gregory Clark and his wife Genevieve, Timothy Clark and his wife Heather, Jeffrey Clark and his wife Ashley,  Amybeth Hodges and her husband Brian, Roderick Macdonald, Sarah Staubitz and her husband Brad and Brian Carey,  8 step grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her sister Eleanor Gaudette and her husband Robert of Dracut and many nieces and nephews.   She was predeceased by her brother David P. Lane and his wife Blanche of Chelmsford.
