Ellen Rose Sheerin, 55, of N. Chelmsford, MA died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.
She was married to John Sheerin with whom she would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on October 3, 2022.
Born in Norwood, MA, she was the daughter of the late Martin McDonagh.
She graduated from Walpole High School, Walpole, with the class of 1984. She is a graduate of University of Massachusetts Boston with a Bachelor of Arts in Music.
She retired from/was employed by AC Hotel of Cambridge and previously worked at Russo’s of Waltham, MA.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford.
She was a member of the Roma Band of the North End in Boston.
Ellen enjoyed cooking and watching movies with her sons, going to the beach, and traveling.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons Raymond Sheerin and Colm Sheerin of N. Chelmsford, MA, her mother Maureen (Mulkern) McDonagh of East Walpole, her brothers Martin McDonagh and his wife Kimberly of Norfolk, MA, James McDonagh and his wife Ann of Attleboro, MA, Thomas McDonagh of Attleboro, MA, Patrick McDonagh and his wife Jayme of Plainville, MA; her sister Anne McDonagh of East Walpole, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister-in-law of the late Laurie McDonagh.
