Emile Taiwo Evelyn Worley, 73, died Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the twin brother of late Kayindae Melvin Worley and the father of late Derek Worley.
He was married to Lovetta Agnes Worley (nee Bangura) with whom he would have celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on December 3, 2023.
Born in Bo, Sierra Leone, West Africa he was the son of Melvin Thomas Worley and Mabel Kanneh.
He graduated from Methodist Boys High School of Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Emile came to the USA in 1991 and became a US Citizen in November 15, 2017.
He was a mental health advocate and was employed by LifeLinks of Lowell MA, as a Direct Support Professional. He previously worked at Life Care Center of Littleton MA.
In Freetown, Emile worked for BATA Shoes Company as a sales manager and for the National Power Authority (NPA).
He was a communicant of St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Lowell MA, and a Church Warden of Bishop Crowther Memorial Church of Freetown.
He enjoyed playing soccer, and he played for Old Edwardians football club and the Sierra Leone National football Team, Leone Stars.
He is survived by his wife, Lovetta Worley, his daughters: Yvonne Sesay of Freetown, Adeline Kamara of UK and Marion Worley of Lowell MA. His sons, Emile Worley Jr. of Maryland, Gerald Worley of Freetown, and Edmond and Melvin Worley of Lowell, MA. His sisters, Fatmata Din-Bangura and Winifred Mannah of London England. His brother Pastor Emile Daniel Worley of Maryland and Cyril Worley of Sierra Leone. Several relatives and friends, the Bangura’s, Lahood’s, Worley’s, Tucker’s, Kanneh’s, the Johnson’s, the Margao’s, and Beatrice George. Close friends Geoffery M. Kamanda, King Arthur Venn, and Santigie Kamara all of the United States. Sisters-in-law Rhonda Worley of the United States and Margaret Worley of Freetown. Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends in USA, England, Canada and Sierra Leone.

Visiting hours Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 3-7 P.M. Funeral Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 9 A.M. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 10 A.M.at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Lowell, MA. Burial at Westlawn II Cemetery, 315 Boston Road, Lowell MA 01852.

Emil was a one of a kind person. He has been in my brother’s life for 15 years now and has been a positive loving role model for him. My brother was inspired by EW to be his best self . EW was an extremely loved by Doug and will be missed beyond words. I as Doug sister am grateful to have had the privilege to know EW and feel his love and joy just by being in his presence.
