Emily T. Prescott, 78, of Lowell, MA passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was married to Stanley D. Prescott with whom she had just celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on February 6th.
Born in Somerville, MA she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emily T. (Ravagni) Landry.
She graduated from Wilmington High School with the class of 1961. Emily later went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in English from Lowell State College.
She worked at OneStop Business Center in Burlington, MA for many years. When she was not working, she enjoyed being home and cooking for her family.
Amongst Emily’s favorite things, riding in her convertible was atop the list.
Besides her husband she is survived by her two sons; Albert Prescott and his wife Judy Prescott of Westford, MA, Charles Prescott and his partner Lori Zani of Sterling, MA; her two grandchildren; Bianca and Sebastian Prescott; her brother and his wife; David and Kerin Landry of N. Las Vegas, NV, her sister; Charlen Landry of Reading, MA, her brother-in-law, Richard Hebert of Sebastian, FL, and her many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Maureen Hebert.
FUNERAL NOTICE
Prescott, Lowell, MA died February 15, 2022. A private graveside service with immediate family will be held for Emily. The family invites everyone to Emily’s Celebration of Life gathering which will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at the Knights of Columbus, 112 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
