LTC Chaney was my first Commander in 1979 when I came on active duty at the 380 MMS in Plattsburgh NY. I always remember him as a calm, caring leader. Treated all his troops fairly.
I retired in 2006, with 27 years of service.
    God speed, Sir.

Eugene was a mentor and guide, as well as a super loyal friend. I will miss him so much. I made a red, white & blue flower arrangement for my church today in honor of Veterans Day and in Memory of Eugene, one of my favorite Veterans.
