Francis Joseph Gardner, Jr., 85, of Chelmsford, MA died Monday May 1, 2023 at David James Hospice Unit surrounded by his loving family.
Born in New York City, New York, Frank was the son of the late Francis J. Gardner and Anna (Schempp) Gardner. Frank graduated from Yorktown High School, headed to University of Tuscaloosa then served in the Air Force. He retired from EMC after a long career as a test engineer. In his retirement he continued his passion for learning and enjoyed having his own computer repair business: Got Computer Problems.
He loved spending time with his family, doing home repairs and outdoor work, playing sports with his daughters, and taking family vacations to Maine. He was a voracious reader and shared his love of mysteries with so many. Music was often playing in the background as he was working and he especially liked classical music. His sense of humor charmed those around him and he truly delighted in his family.
Frank or “Frankie G” was married to Ann/Annie (Brown) Gardner with whom he shared a lifetime of memories.
His mischievous, loving smile will be most missed by his Family including his daughters Kerry and Shane Morrison (children Kevin and Helene) and Jill and Arnaud Clairay (son Thomas), and sons Patrick and Joyce Rinaldi (children Ricky and Chris) and Scott Rinaldi.

Funeral Friday, May 5, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Dolan Funeral Home.
