George “Pete” Wyman of Westford, MA, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was married to the late Elsie Wyman for 55 years.
Born in Nashua, NH, George was the son of the late Horace and Iona Wyman. He was a graduate of Westford Academy High School with the class of 1953.
George retired from the town of Westford as the Superintendent of Streets and was the owner of Wyman’s Beach and Campground in Westford, MA.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
He is survived by three daughters, Vicki and her husband Carl Pinucci, June and her husband Steve Ingalls, and Shari Wyman of Westford, MA; several beloved grandchildren, Jeff Ingalls, Alex Ingalls, Pete and Nikki (Ingalls) Fales, Samantha Ingalls, Andy Ingalls, and Torrie Lewine; a great grandson, Tyler Keough; and two sisters, Thelma and her husband Spencer Riley of Tyngsborough, and Viola Wyman of California.
No visiting hours. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
