Gladys E. Abbott Age 90, of North Chelmsford

Gladys E. Abbott, 90, of North Chelmsford, MA died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Westford House in Westford, MA.

She was married to the late Ralph R. Abbott who died December 19, 2013 with whom she celebrated their 65^th wedding anniversary on August 15, 2013.

Born in Arlington, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lillian Viola (Allen) Morrison.  She was a graduate of Howe High School in Billerica with the class of 1946.

She worked at Harvard Medical Associates in Chelmsford. She co-owned and operated N. Chelmsford Textile Pin Supply for many years with her husband Ralph.

She was a member of the North Chelmsford Congregational Church, Chelmsford Senior Center, Vesper Country club, Chelmsford Garden Club, and the Woman’s Auxiliary of Lowell General Hospital.

She is survived by her sons, David R. Abbott and his wife Trinkle Jones of Tempe, AZ and John E. and his wife Kathleen Abbott of N. Chelmsford. MA; four grandchildren, Joshua Abbott and his wife, Tammy of Chelmsford, MA, Travis Abbott and his wife, Stephanie of N. Chelmsford, Rachel Abbott and her fiancé, Joshua Rondeau of N. Chelmsford, MA, Mackenzie Abbott of Tucson, AZ; A brother, Charles and his wife, Marie Morrison of Tewksbury, MA; Two great granddaughters, Lillian and Evelyn Abbott of Chelmsford and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late, Edward and Douglas Morrison.

At her request there are no visiting hours. Her Funeral Service will be private from the Congregational Church in N. Chelmsford.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Chelmsford.  Memorials may be made in her memory to the N.
