Hannel P. Morel of Lowell, MA

Hannel P. Morel, of Lowell, MA, passed away at the age of 2 on May 19, 2024, after a lifelong battle with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). Born on December 4, 2021, Hannel brought immeasurable joy and love to his family throughout his short but impactful life.

Despite facing significant medical challenges, Hannel was known for his infectious happiness and unwavering strength. He approached each day with a fighting spirit that inspired all who knew him. His resilience in the face of adversity served as a testament to his remarkable character.

Hannel is survived by his loving parents, Haguen Morel and Ginnet Boria, who cherished every moment spent with their precious son. He is also survived by his twin brother, Heyden Morel, and his sister, Alinna Boria, who shared a special bond with him from the moment they were born.

In addition to his immediate family, Hannel is mourned by his aunts and uncles: Crislandy Morel, Giselle Morel, Melvin Morel, Selinnette Boria, Ryan Gonzalez, and Francheska Gonzalez. He will be deeply missed by his maternal grandparents, Maritza Rosario and Pablo Gonzalez, as well as his paternal grandparents, Belkis Valenzuela and Elpidio Morel.

Although Hannel’s time with us was far too short, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His bravery and joyous spirit will continue to inspire all who were touched by his presence.

Hannel P. Morel, Lowell, MA died May 19, 2024. Visiting hours Thursday May 23, from 3:00-7:00PM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, CHELMSFORD, MA, 106 MIDDLESEX ST, N. CHELMSFORD, MA 01863. Funeral Friday May 24, 2024, 10AM at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Lowell, MA.  Burial in Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
