Jacqueline E. (Regan) Parks, 75, of Chelmsford, MA passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife to the late Samuel Ira Parks. Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Estelle (Cote) Regan.
She graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1959. During her career, she was an executive secretary at Hanscom Air Force Base, Merrimack Education Center in Chelmsford and finally retired at Boshco, Inc. in Billerica. However, her most rewarding job was raising her two children.
She was a member of St. John The Evangelist Church in Chelmsford. Jacqueline was a philanthropist, giving to many organizations while also supporting the Audubon Society and her favorite charity, the Lowell Humane Society, where she adopted many rescued cats.
She enjoyed spending many fun days and boat rides with her family on Bow Lake, where she was a Honorary Director of the Bow Lake Camp Owners Association. She was completely devoted to her grandchildren and loved to travel worldwide with her brother and friends. Her enormous generosity, quick wit and unfailing courage will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her son, David Parks and his wife Caroline of Westford; her daughter Pamela Breuer and her husband Robert of Chelmsford; four grandchildren, Cailean and Samuel Breuer and Alana and Heath Parks; her brother Paul Regan and wife Sally of Umatilla, FL, her sisters-in-law Hazel Thompson of Westford and Grace Latour of Chelmsford, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be Thursday, June 8, 9:00 AM at St. John The Evangelist Church in Chelmsford. Memorials may be made in her name to the Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway St. Lowell, MA 01854. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041. Guestbook at www.dolanfuneralhome.com

My sincerest sympathies to Jackie’s children, grandchildren and her brother Paul. I believe that we never lose the people we love even in death. They somehow continue to be a part of every act and thought in our lives because their love leaves and indelible imprint on out hearts and memories. I hope you find comfort knowing just how many lives have been touched by Jackie. I have fond memories of her while visiting my Aunt Estelle and Uncle Walter…she was ready to answer the million questions I had about the birds in the back yard….but what I remember most about my cousin was her WARM INVITING SMILE!
