Jeanette Marie Spang, 88, of N. Chelmsford, MA died Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Life Care Center, Billerica, MA.
She was married to David A. Spang with whom she would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on May 30, 2022.
Born in Chelsea, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ulysse Doucette and Pauline (LeBlanc) Doucette. In addition, Jeannette was lovingly raised by Florence Doucette. She graduated from Winthrop High School with the class of 1951.
She retired in 1995 from Chelmsford Public Schools as Executive Secretary to the Superintendent.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of Chelmsford, MA.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, needlepoint, knitting, and baking. Jeannette loved to play cards with her grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, David Spang of Dunstable, MA; two daughters, Susan and her husband, Douglas Taylor of Pelham, NH and Nancy Antonopoulos of Dunstable, MA; a sister-in-law, Marie Doucette of Winthrop; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Louis Doucette of Winthrop, MA and the late Lorraine Cox of Sanford, ME.

Visiting hours Tues. 4 to 6 P.M. Funeral Wed. at 10am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 11am at St. John the Evangelist in North Chelmsford.
