Jeanne E. (Crockwell) Keegan of Chelmsford, MA

Jeanne E. (Crockwell) Keegan, 85, of Chelmsford, MA,  formerly of Malden died Thursday evening, January 28, 2016 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford.

She was married to the late Thomas L. Keegan, who was a 30-year career Navy veteran who died on February 28, 1986.

Born in Malden, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude Crockwell. She graduated from Malden High School with the class of 1948.

Jeanne retired in 2000 as the Office Manager for Dr. Robert Berman’s dental office in Malden.

She was an avid reader and a lucky lottery player. Jeanne enjoyed playing Bingo, doing cross word puzzles and Jeopardy.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas L. and his wife, Marie Keegan of Chelmsford and Michael and his wife, Valerie Keegan of Wauconda, IL; one daughter, Kathleen Camerano of Devens, MA; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three nieces and three nephews.

She was the sister of the late William Crockwell, Richard Crockwell and Marion Burke all of Malden.

Visiting hours Sun. 2 to 4 P.M. Funeral Service Mon. at 10:00 AM at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD. Burial in Forrest Dale Cemetery, Malden, MA. Memorials may be made in her name to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105.
