He was married to Janet (McHale) Donahue with whom he would have celebrated their 57th anniversary on that day.

Born in Quincy, MA, Jack was the son of the late William J. and Alice M. Donahue. He graduated from North Quincy High School with the class of 1951, and then served in the Far East with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor in law from Suffolk University.

Jack enjoyed bicycling, sailing, fishing, tennis, pheasant hunting, and digging for clams and oysters. However, his greatest pleasure was being with his family.

Besides his wife, Jack is survived by: his daughter Paula and her husband Joseph Kerwin of Medfield, MA; his son Jay Donahue of Osterville, MA; his daughter Nancy and her husband Frederick Cyker of Boston, MA.

“Dutch” was the adored grandfather of Joseph Kerwin, Camille Kerwin, Jack Kerwin, Sophie Cyker, and Leo Cyker, all of whom he loved absolutely. He is also survived by many, many nieces and nephews.

Jack was the brother of the late William Donahue, Marie Regele, Alice Kuppens, Jeanne Lee, and Eleanor Kilroy.

Jack was a “terrific guy”. Worked with him at EG&G. In addition he would ask my help in fixing is computer at home. Jack was nice enough to give me a ride to work when I was recuperating from a Achilles heal injury. May he rest in peace.
