John was a childhood playmate that I remember playing in the old cemetery with as he lived right across the street. Then when I returned to Groton in 1980 he recognized me but I did not recogni, recognize, this man with a white beard! Linda became my hairdresser and my condolences go out to her and her family. Rest in peace, John.

I remember dancing with Johnny at Murray’s he was a very good dancer. When he and Linda starting dancing together at Murray’s he only had eyes for Linda. When they danced everyone watched, they were so amazing together. For the most part that remained true for life. Johnny ended up a great father and grandfather. Johnny had a wild sense of humor. He will be missed by all. May he RIP.
