Jonathan Edward Golden of Methuen, MA

Jonathan Edward Golden, 32, of Methuen, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March, 20, 2024 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, MA. Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late Daniel and Michele (Blades) Golden. Jonathan graduated from Greater Lowell Technical High School with the class of 2009. He had previously worked at Independent Eye Care of Danvers, MA.

Jonathan cherished his family and friends and loved to spend time with them at family events and cookouts. He loved to joke around with his brother and make everyone smile with his boisterous and contagious laughter. Jonathan’s easy going and carefree nature made it easy for him to get along with anyone and everyone. He never turned down a chance to have a good time with friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Aside from spending time with family and friends, Jonathan enjoyed playing soccer, gaming, and bowling.

Jonathan is most remembered as a loving father. He beamed with pride when talking about his daughter, Kaisley, and step-son, Kayriel. He loved to brag about their accomplishments and show off recent pictures and videos of them. Some of Jonathan’s favorite activities were cuddling up on the couch with Kaisley for a Disney movie and building new Lego creations with Kayriel.

Jonathan is survived by his daughter Kaisley, step-son Kayriel Santos, and his long term significant other, Cristal Santos, his brother and his wife, Matthew and Shannon Golden of Methuen, MA, and his nephew, Chase Golden, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jonathan’s visiting hours will be on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:00 am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., N. CHELMSFORD, MA 01863 followed by a Funeral Liturgy of the Word Service at 12 Noon at St. Rita’s Church, Lowell, MA. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury, MA.
