Joseph Leo Lord, Sr., 53, of Lowell, MA died Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Lowell General Hospital. He was married to Sheri (Greenblatt) Lord with whom he would have celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on December 2. Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of the late John Lord, Sr. He graduated from Lowell High School and was employed by the Glenview Restaurant for many years and more recently worked at Stansfield Tire.
He enjoyed being with his family and children, especially family gatherings and BBQ’s. He loved cooking and fishing. He was also a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins and watching war movies.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother Marilyn (Thompson) Lord of Lowell, his sons Joe Lord, Jr. and Brandon Lord, both of Lowell; his daughter Jessica Lord and her partner Tim of Merrimack, NH; his brothers John Lord, Jr. of Springfield, MA, Edward Lord of Lowell, MA; his sister Christine Lord and her partner Johnny of Lowell; grandchildren Madison, Gage, and Sophie; nieces and nephews Sarah, JD, Michael, Marilyn, Matthew, Angelica, Sidney, and Kristel and many great nieces, nephews and cousins. As well as his godfather, David R Surprenant of Chelmsford.
He was the uncle of the late Joseph Paquin who died March 2016.
