Joyce O. (Shipley) Morin, 82, formerly of Tyngsboro and Chelmsford died Sunday evening, July 8, 2018 at the Blaire House in Worcester, MA.
She was married to the late Paul E. Morin, who died on April 4, 1997.
Born in Tyngsboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Laura Anne Shipley. She graduated from Lowell High School in 1954 and attended Middlesex Community College and Northeastern University.
Joyce retired from Bank North in Burlington, MA. She had previously worked at GCA of Bedford, MA and for Emerson Real Estate of Chelmsford, MA.
She was a communicant of Saint John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford.
Joyce enjoyed reading and was a hospice volunteer.
She is survived by a son, Paul and his wife Julie Morin of Tyngsboro; three daughters, Janice and her husband, Richard Normandin of Lowell, Jody and her husband, Jeremy St. Pierre of Seabrook, NH and Jeanne and her husband, Darryl Wickens of Tyngsboro; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Herbert Shipley of Tyngsboro, who died on March 10, 2009 and the late George Shipley of Dunstable, who died on July 14, 1992.
A private Funeral was held yesterday, July 13, 2018 with a funeral Mass at Saint John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Chelmsford. I am so sorry for your loss. Joyce was an amazing woman. I remember her as always being dressed so nicely and always smelled so pretty. She was one classy, smart lady. She will be missed by many.
