My heart is heavy with sadness to learn of the loss of my cousin Kara. I have fond memories of her growing up on Weed Street and will always remember visiting with her at the hospital when my wife and I were having our children. She will be missed and my prayers are with her and Uncle Ray and Jeff. God Bless. Roy Lundstedt Jr.

We are so very sad to hear that Kara did not survive her recent medical difficulties. I did not know her for a long time, but loved her dearly, and enjoyed her wry sense of humor and obvious love for her friends and family. We send our deepest sympathy to her father Ray, her brother Jeff, and all her wonderful friends in the Merrimack Valley.

So sorry for loss. I have fond memories of Kara at the lake when I was very young. I was known as littlest Kara back then.

Kara…no, not Kara. KK…KK was my best friend of 35+ years. The kind of friend that believes in you when you can’t believe in yourself. The kind of friend who finishes your sentences. The kind of friend who respects the fact you hate her eating off your plate but does it anyway with a silly smile. The friend you call in the middle of the day or night to talk about that silly commercial with “Mayhem” or to cry because life has you down. The person you call when your mom is dying and you can’t breathe. The friend that becomes the glue for your tight group. The one person who knows you better than you know yourself. KK was my other half, my partner in crime. My light. My rock for many years. The one person who never gave up on me. I can’t imagine life without her love and her light. Condolences to her dad and brother and to “US” – the tight knit group of friends that are trying our best to hold it together for her and do the right things to honor her. When people say one of a kind, truly this was KK. My heart is broken. I am broken. She knew the person I am, and loved me despite of me and my many flaws. She was my person. Now, I hope the new person I have no choice but to become honors her memory each and every day. Blessings to all who knew KK and felt her love and her light. We are all better people for knowing her.

    Dear Ray & Jeff,

Skip and I send our deepest sympathy in the loss of Kara. When I told Joy and Jeff they were in shock too! They remember very well her babysitting them and also being around with you all on Old School House Road. I was traveling and if I had known we surely would of attended the services. Kara always had a smile and we have wonderful memories of Doris and Kara. Ray, please take care. Love Marilyn, Skip, Joy & Jeff
