Karen E. DeMartin, 73, of Nashua, NH died Sunday, June 11, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua NH surrounded by her family from complications resulting from a recent fall.
Born in Lewiston, ME on July 24, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Edna DeMartin. She was raised in Westford, MA and graduated from Westford Academy with the Class of 1961. Karen later lived in Chelmsford MA and Bow, NH.
Karen worked as a Cashier at Hannaford’s Supermarket in Nashua for many years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was a big animal lover. She especially loved spending time with the grandchildren and visits with her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly DeMartin of Bow, NH; her brother, John DeMartin of Pepperell, MA and his companion, Dottie Weed of Freemont; two sisters, Stephanie Butler and her husband Dale of Shirley, MA and Robin Danzini of Nashua, NH; NH; three grandchildren, Blake Nelson of Goffstown, NH, Logan and Keegan Sanborn of Bow, NH and two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey DeMartin.
There are no Visiting hours. Funeral Fri. at 11:00 a.m. in the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford at a later date.
