Kathleen Ann (Roche) Schmider, 56, of Westford, MA died Saturday morning, July 30, 2016 at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA.
She was married to Mr. John A. Schmider with whom she would have celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary on October 6, 2016.
Kathy was the daughter of Gail Roche of Las Vegas, NV and the late Norman Roche. She was a graduate of Acton-Boxboro High School with the class of 1979.
She was a certified nursing assistant, and owned and operated Kathy Schmider Commercial Cleaning of Westford, MA.
She was a member of Harbor of Hope Church of Chelmsford, MA.
Kathy loved spending time with her family and her greatest joy in life was making others happy.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Hannah Schmider of Westford, MA; three sons Brian, Curtis and Kyle Schmider all of Westford, MA; a sister, Lori Roche of Ayer, MA; four brothers and their wives, John and Robin Roche of Moultonborough, NH, James and Linda Roche of Francistown, NH, Lawrence and Janine Roche of Boxboro, MA, and Norman and Nicole Roche of Groton, MA; two step-sisters and their husbands, Deborah and Gary Montecalvo of Attleboro, MA, Cathy and Jerry Bolduc of Chelmsford, MA; and a granddaughter, Rebecca Marchand of Townsend, MA. Kathy was also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as several close friends.
Visiting hours Tuesday 3 to 7 P.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. Funeral Wed. at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Community Church 275 Billerica Rd Chelmsford, MA. Memorials may be made in her name to the Mass General Development Office, 125 Nashua, Street, Suite 540, Boston, MA 02114-1101 For the Cancer Center.

Cathy was a remarkable person beautiful person inside and out. I remember when she brought our family over supper 2 days after I had my baby Danielle now 15 , I was just getting to know her, that’s was the kind of person she was . Dear Schmider Family,
Kathy was a sweet, endearing sister to me. I loved her and will miss her greatly. At times she would come alongside to encourage, comfort and strengthen me, then other times she would be so much fun and make me laugh til I cried.
Her greatest legacy for me was the sweet aroma of the presence of Jesus in her life, of which I will forever emulate. We enjoyed sharing scriptures of God’s love, strength and peace when times got hard, and praying for one another through it all.
I am so grateful to God for His loving care, His presence and provision each step of the way in this- her final journey on Earth, and His promise of eternal life granted to her, because of Christ’s resurrection.
