Keal Koy Hy of Lowell, MA

Keal Koy Hy, 80, of Lowell, MA died Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital.

She was married to the late Song Hy.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia she was the daughter of the late Kham Koy and Sath Ram of Cambodia.

Keal came to the USA in November of 1978 and later became a United States citizen.

She was a very active member and was well known at the Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram Temple in North Chelmsford.

Some of the things that she enjoyed were gardening, exercising, watching game shows and cooking shows, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered by her family as loving and kind mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Keal was a generous person with a big heart. She helped anyone in need.  Gifts she received she would in return give to those who needed it. She would give the shirt off her back and all the money she had, and would help out in any way she was able. She also collected and donated food and clothing to the local food pantry.

She is survived by her sons Thoeun Hy and his wife Marie Hy of Lowell, MA, Sambo Hy of Lowell, MA, Sambath Hy of Lowell, MA, daughters Saroeun Hy and her husband Yin Chreng of Lowell, MA, Marlee Hy-Le and her husband Hai Le of East Hartford, CT, a brother Noeun Kham and his wife Pak Long of Lowell, thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 1:30 P.M.to 3:00 P.M. at Dolan Funeral Home and to Wat Khmer Temple after 3:00.  Funeral Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 8 A.M. at Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram Temple, 85 Tyngsboro Road, N.
