Linda M. (Fitzpatrick) Beaudry, 67, of Lowell, MA died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was married to the late Daniel Dyer, who died in Oct. 2007, and her former husband, the late Francis Beaudry. Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Francis X. and M. Edna (Murphy) Fitzpatrick. Linda graduated from Keith Hall with the class of 1965 and attended nursing school. Linda retired in 1997 as a supervisor from the Food Service department of the Lowell Public Schools. In her earlier years, she worked at New England Telephone and as a teller at the Lowell 5 Cent Savings Bank’s John Street branch. She loved to knit and crochet, and also enjoyed playing cards, especially 45’s, with family and friends. Linda was a former communicant of the Sacred Heart Church in Lowell.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and his wife Marian Dyer of Pepperell; her daughter, Bridget Dyer of Lowell; her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and his wife Catherine Fitzpatrick of Lowell; two grandchildren, Joshua K. Hussey and Paige F. Dyer, both of Pepperell, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Colleen Matte of Lowell, who died in 1959.
Visiting hours Wed. 3 to 7 P.M. Funeral Thur. at 10 A.M. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 11A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell. Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105(www.stjude.org).
