MacDonald Allan Kurapa, 19, of Lowell, MA died Saturday, August 6, 2022.
Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, he was the son of Aston Chitiyo of Zimbabwe and Maureen
Kurapa and his stepfather, Blessing Munyanyi of Lowell, MA.
MacDonald graduated from Lowell High School, Lowell, with the class of 2020. He was
planning to attend New England Institute of HVAC in Lowell.
He was working at Essco Calibrations of Chelmsford.
MacDonald was a communicant of St. Margaret of Scotland Church in Lowell.
He enjoyed playing football and basketball, and also enjoyed music.
He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Goldie Kurapa of Lowell; his biological
sister, Maccinne Kurapa of Lowell, MA; Natalie Munyanyi of Zimbabwe; his biological brother,
Macalvin Kurapa of Lowell, MA; Bradely Munyanyi of Zimbabwe; Tashinga Matanhire of
Lowell, MA; and many cousins: Tatenda Jogo of Dracut MA, Tanaka Jogo of Dracut MA, Kunashe Kurapa of Ashburnham MA , Maita Kurapa of Ashburnham MA, Allan Junior Kurapa of Ashburnham MA , Kamren Kurapa of Ohio , Kyira Kurapa of Ohio , Alex Junior Katsamba of Texas, Simbarashe Mtasa of Ashburnham MA.
