Maria Emilia Ravenstein, 84, of Chelmsford, MA died Monday, November 27, 2021, at Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington, MA from complications due to Covid-19. She was married to the late Bobby Joe Ravenstein, 77, who died on November 29, 2021, also of complications due to Covid-19—two hearts, one soul.
Born in Yalí, Nicaragua, she was the daughter of the late Blas Miguel Molina Hidalgo. Maria taught at the Kids Club of Andover, MA for many years. She was a member of the First Parish Unitarian Church of Chelmsford, MA. Maria was the proud leader of her Girl Scout troop for many years. She was an avid maker which included scrapbooking, knitting, sewing, and baking. Maria also loved traveling the world with Bob, but above all else Maria adored her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Eric David Ravenstein and partner Nadine Plessow of Chicago, IL, her daughter Yalin Lisa Ravenstein Murdock of Darien, CT, her three grandchildren Jack Murdock who attends Colorado College, Patrick Murdock who attends Bowden College, and Emilia Murdock who attends the University of Toronto, her several siblings and her precious cat Winston whom she loved so much.

We are sorry to lose you Maria but Mary Anne and I sure enjoyed our time with you and your family. You sure knew how to throw great pool parties and brought us all together for such fine times.
