Marilyn E. (Stevens)Manning, 81, of Tyngsboro died Monday April 3, 2023 peacefully in her sleep.
She was married to the late John F. Manning of Tyngsboro, MA who died January 9, 2023.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace Stevens. She attended Lowell High School.
She was a communicant of St. Mary Magdalen Church of Tyngsboro.
Marilyn was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed being a mom above anything else.
She was a longtime resident of Tyngsboro who loved nothing more than spending time with her family, whether visiting the many state parks or attending multiple sporting events of her many children and grandchildren. Family was everything to her.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, John “Jack” Manning and his wife, Martha of Dunstable, Steven and his wife, Dawn Manning of Tyngsboro, Thomas Manning and his wife, Claudine of Nashua, NH, Gregg Manning and his wife, Jill of Amherst, NH and Corey Manning and his wife, Karen of Norwood, MA; daughters, Darlene O’Hare of Tyngsboro, Traci and her husband, Mark Cohen of Hudson, NH, and Sheri and her husband, Claudio Mateo of Tyngsboro, MA; 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late John, Robert, Edward and Kenneth Stevens, and the late Nancy Desmond, and the mother-in-law of the late Cynthia Manning of Tyngsboro.
Marilyn’s visiting hours will be Monday, April 10, 2023 from 3 to 7 P.M. Funeral Tues. at 12 Noon from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 1PM at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Tyngsboro. Burial in Memorial Cemetery, Tyngsboro.
