Mary F. (Butler) McMullen, 91, of Nashua, NH formerly of N. Chelmsford, MA died Sunday November 20, 2016 at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell, MA.
She was married to the late Alfred D. McMullen who died March 11, 2007.
Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Katherine (Lennon) Butler. She was raised in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1943.
Mary worked as a Bookkeeper at McGeown Educator of Lowell, Southwell Combing of N. Chelmsford and EA Wilson of Lowell.
Mary was a life-long communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
She is survived by a son, Alfred (Daniel) McMullen Jr and his wife, Beth of Nashua, NH; a daughter, Mary F. George of Andover, MA; a daughter-in-law, Kathy McMullen of Lowell, MA; a sister, Margaret Gervais of Lowell and a sister in-law, Joan Kaknas of Chelmsford; four grandchildren, Christina Guenard and her former husband Eric of Andover, MA, Jessica and her husband Jonathan McLellan of Methuen, MA, Kathleen and her husband John Raepple of Ontario, Canada and Michael McMullen and his fiancé , Kimberly Helie of Manchester, NH; ten great grandchildren, Austin George-Williams, Aidan, Jack and Avery McLellan, Hannah, Maia, and Brendan Guenard, Aaliyah and Marissa Helie and Patrick McMullen and many nieces and nephews as well as a close friend, Fran Radowski of Chelmsford, MA
She was the mother of the late Michael McMullen who died August 4, 2014, mother in-law of the late Ronald George of N. Chelmsford who died in 1988, and the twin sister of the late Katherine Haley who died January 16, 2014.
Visiting hours Tues. 5 to 8 P.M. Funeral Wed. at 8am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a Funeral Mass at 9am at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Chelmsford. Memorials may be made in her memory to St. John’s Church, 115 Middlesex St., N.
