Mary Lillian Sahagian of Westford, MA

Mary Lillian Sahagian, 88, of Westford, MA passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Lahey Medical Center, Burlington, MA.

She was married to Samuel C. Sahagian on February 11, 1961 and they shared treasured experiences of raising their family, traveling, playing cards, bickering, and laughter for over 61 years of marriage.

Born in Gardner, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edmond Flanagan and Doris (Schaeffer) Flanagan.

She graduated from Gardner High School, in the class of 1950, attended University of Lowell, and had a career as a realtor with Buckingham Realty of Westford and as a bookkeeper for Stager Corp. of Lowell, MA.

Mary was a lifelong devout Catholic who knew God loved all people. She was a communicant of Blessed Trinity Parish of Westford, MA.

She loved antiquing, playing Bridge, spending time with friends, and took great joy in seeing her children and grandchildren grow throughout life. Mary will be remembered for her positive outlook, her generous spirit, her love of the arts (including the art of game shows), her infectious laughter, and the resilient strength she always carried and instilled in her family.

Alongside her husband, she is survived by her children: Karen Sahagian and companion Scott Fitzgerald of Westminster, MA; Cheryl Reault and husband David of Tyngsboro, MA; and Dr. Kirk Sahagian and wife Andrea, of Yarmouth, ME; and 5 grandchildren: Joe Reault, Shannon Reault, Averil Sahagian, Kate Sahagian, and Noah Sahagian.

FUNERAL NOTICE

There will be no visiting hours. Funeral Mass Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in Blessed Trinity Parish, Westford, MA.
