5575 WeahMary Pricilla (Crump) Weah, 89, of Lowell died Sunday, July 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at her home.

She was married to Gabriel W. Weah Sr. with whom she would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on December 16.

Born in Liberia, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Crump and Kate Capehart. She moved to the United States in July of 1987.

Mary was a dedicated homemaker to her fourteen children. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist.

Mary was a member of the Liberia Association of the Merrimack Valley.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, George and his wife, Affiong Weah of Woodbridge, VA, Gabriel W. Weah Jr. of Lowell, Arthur Weah and his wife, Chantee Watts-Weah of Pawtucket, RI and Myghty Weah of Liberia; ten daughters, Augusta Luke of Liberia, Christine and her husband, John Thomas Bass of Liberia, Barbara and her husband, David Mulbah of Lowell, Winnifred Cisco of Liberia, Massa Smallwood of Liberia, Veronica Weah Bailey and her husband Augusta Bailey of Chelmsford, Veta and her husband, Richard Wright of Liberia, Tanneh and her husband, Calvin Amos Nylander of TX and Rita Weah of Liberia, and Tenrah Kermee Ruff of Staton Island, NY ; two sisters, Alethia Crump of Lowell, Margret Bline of Lowell; forty grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three brothers.

Visiting hours Fri. 5 to 10P.M. at the Christ Jubilee Church, 101 Smith St., Lowell. Funeral Sat. with a funeral Mass at 9A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 115 Middlesex St. Chelmsford.     I was sorry to learn of Mary’s passing. I delivered groceries to her and Gabriel for many years. She was a fascinating woman who generously shared stories of her life and her family. My deepest sympathies to the family during this sad time.
