Mary (Willis) O’Sullivan Overon, 86, of N. Chelmsford, MA died Friday February 23, 2018 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, FL.

She was married to the late William T O’Sullivan who died on January 4, 1989 and the late Leonard Overon who died on October 24, 2001.

Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Agnes Willis. She was a Girl Officer at Lowell High School and graduated with the Class of 1949.

Mary worked at St. John’s Hospital as a Communications Operator for seventeen years, retiring in 1988.  She had previously worked at AT&T for many years.

Mary lived in The Villages, FL for 27 years.  For several years she was a volunteer at The Villages’ Regional Hospital.

Mary enjoyed golf, playing cards, Bingo, Yahtzee, and taking an occasional trip to the casino. Competitive Yahtzee games with her grandchildren were her favorite! She was happiest spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her friends would watch her face light up whenever she talked about them! Mary was adventurous and enjoyed travelling whenever she was able. She was a kind and caring person who gave each one of her family and friends a piece of her heart.  Not a day would go by that she was not humming or singing as she went about her routine. Mary will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

She is survived by one son, William T. O’Sullivan II of Ayer; six daughters, Kathleen and her husband, Michael Glasheen of Lowell, Susan Rosa of N. Chelmsford, Colleen and her husband, Paul Humphrey of Tewksbury, Tracy and her husband, James Riley of Lowell, Kelly Velmure of Westford, and Robin and her husband, Todd Bonica of Westford; 22 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother Edward “Weasel” and his wife, Peggy Willis of Philadelphia, PA; one sister, Alyce McQuade of Merrimack, NH;four sisters-in-law, Sharon Willis of Maryland, Patricia Gagne of Leominster, Elizabeth O’Sullivan of Alexandria, VA and Mary O’Sullivan of Sebring, FL;  and many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her son in-law, Steven Rosa, her sister and one of her best friends Anne Buckley, and her brothers Joseph, James, and Jack Willis.
