Maryann (Howard) Silk, 64, a longtime resident of Dunstable died Thursday morning, August 24, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at her home.
She was married to Donald Silk with whom she would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on September 18, 2017.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late James and Edith Howard. She graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1971.
She enjoyed watching birds from her porch, and was an avid Red Sox fan. Maryann was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Donald and his wife, Lauren Silk of Amherst, NH and James Silk of Townsend; daughters, Rebecca and her husband, Aaron Rudolf of Amherst, NH and Hollie and her husband, Nicholas Brickley of Townsend; sister, Karen and her husband, John Iannacone of Groton; mother in law, Dorothy Faram of Chelmsford; two brothers in-law, E. Michael Hogan and Robert Silk of Chelmsford; a sister-in-law, Sandra Howard of Groton; eight grandchildren, Mason, Emily, Matthew and Austin Silk, Brady Rudolf, and Logan, Cameron and Leah Brickley and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late James and Thomas Howard and Martha Hogan.
Private services were held yesterday with burial at the Central Cemetery, Dunstable. Memorials may be made in her name to Marguerite’s Place, 87 Palm St, Nashua, NH 03060. Hollie and family I was shocked to see that your mom had passed. I worked at dress barn with your mom and she offered her home for our Christmas party. Everyone had such a great time. I will always remember her fondly. May you and your family treasure all your memories with her.
