Matthew Thomas Gintner of Westford, MA died unexpectedly Saturday, July 17, 2021.
He was married to Tiffany (St. Gelais) Gintner with whom he celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary on June 21, 2021.
Born in Concord, MA, he was the son of M. Stephanie (Flannery) Gintner and the late Edward T. Gintner.
He graduated from Nashoba Technical High School with the class of 1998.
He worked at Westford Academy, previously at Harvard Public Schools, Life Care of Littleton, and Seven Hills of Groton.
Matthew enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and spending time outdoors with his family. He was a handyman in every sense of the word. If you needed something fixed, he could do it. Above all, Matt loved being a dad.
Besides his wife he is survived by his beloved children, Annabelle and Thomas Gintner of Westford, MA, God daughter Courtney Gintner of Shirley, MA, God son Tony Babineau of Westford, MA, father-in-law Richard St. Gelais of Westford, MA, sister Tracy Gintner of Pensacola, FL, brother Timothy and his wife Denise Gintner of Ayer, MA, brother David and his wife Robyn Gintner of Leominster, MA as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 3-7 P.M. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 10 A.M. on Friday, July 23, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Chelmsford.
