Mildred E. (Mowatt) Holt, 89, a lifelong resident of Lowell died on Thursday afternoon, August 2, 2018 at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell.
She was married to the late Fredrick Holt, who died in July of 1976.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Mowatt.
Mildred worked as a home health aide for many years. She had previously worked for the Sacred Heart Church in Lowell.
She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart Church and the Holy Family Parish of Lowell, MA; where Mildred was a Eucharistic Minister and Sacristan.
She is survived by a son, William and his wife, Tracy Holt of N. Chelmsford; two daughters, Elizabeth “Betty” Conlon of N. Chelmsford and Dianne and her husband, John Bailey of Webster, NY; a brother, John Mowatt of Lowell; three grandchildren, Jon and Daniel Conlon and Charles Holt; two great grandchildren, Mia and Bella Conlon and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother-in-law of the late Paul Conlon.
Visitation will be Mon. from 10:00 to 11:00A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 115 Middlesex St., N. Chelmsford, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11A.M. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell. Memorials may be made in her name to the D’Youville Foundation, 981 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041.
