Mildred Jean Gordon, age 94, a twenty-year resident of Dunstable formerly of Methuen and Chelmsford died Friday, April 29, 2016 at her home.
She was married to the late George S. Gordon who died September 23, 2009.
Born in Methuen, She was the daughter of the late Honre and Elizabeth Jean. She was a graduate of Methuen High School with the class of 1940. During WWII Mildred worked at the Lawrence Textile Woolen Mills.
She was an active member of the Universal Unitarian Church in Chelmsford.
Mildred was a member of Dunstable Senior Citizens. She enjoyed dancing and spending quality time with family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Gary Gordon of Raymond, NH; two sisters, Dorothy Todd of Boxford and Valerie Blauvelt of Jaffrey, NH; many nieces and nephews and several close friends.
Mildred was the sister of the late Roland Jean of Methuen.
At her request there will be no visiting hours. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held Thursday at 11 AM in West Chelmsford Cemetery. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041.

I delivered meals to Mildred. She was the sweetest kindest person. She always had a smile on her face whenever I delivered her meal. I will miss her.
