Miriam “Mim” A. (Casey) Lanoue, 82, of Pompano Beach, FL, formerly of N. Chelmsford, MA died October 13, 2018 at the Broward Health North Medical Center in Pompano Beach, FL.
She was married to the late Edward H. Lanoue who died May 2, 2010.
Born in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Evelyn Casey. She graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1953, and was a member of the Girl Officers.
Mim was employed with the MA-Com Co. in Lowell, MA until her retirement in 1996.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, and St. Margaret Church. She was a member of the St. Margaret’s Blessed Virgin Sodality. Mim was formerly a communicant of St. Gabriel’s Church in Pompano Beach, Florida, and a former member of Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxillary. Mim enjoyed vacationing at the beach, and loved spending time with her family. She had a passion for dogs.
She is survived by a son and his wife, Michael A. and Peri Lanoue of Orrs Island, ME; two daughters and their husbands, Linda M. and David DePaulis of Chelmsford, MA and Colleen A. and Stephen Hajjar of Methuen, MA; a brother and his wife, Harry and Celyne Casey of Margate, FL; two brothers-in-law, Retired LT. Colonel USAF Donald L. Lanoue of Sun City West, AZ, and David R. and his wife, Shirley Lanoue of Manchester, NH; three granddaughters, Meghan and her husband, Alex Cruz of Nashua, NH, Magdalena and Sarah Lanoue of Orrs Island, ME; two great grandchildren, Casey and Dominic Cruz; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours Fri. 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Sat. at 9a.m.from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 Middlesex St., Chelmsford with a funeral Mass at 10a.m. at St. Margaret Church, Stevens St., Lowell.
