I have the fondest memories of Ms. Salome. Growing up on Sayles Street she was always generous to Kevin’s friends and what a blast it was to get a ride in her Buick Wildcat convertible.

Although I knew Muriel only briefly through her stay at the Saab, I will always remember the happy times we shared. She attended the monthly Young at Heart luncheons at Christ Church United in Dracut Center, where I happily served her. Her pal Joan and other Saab residents had a special table and Muriel always made us laugh. I will miss seeing her both at the Saab and at the luncheons. I loved you, dear Muriel!

A beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman. As I said to Barb, she was one of our moms growing up in our very special neighborhood. I remember when she found out that we tried smoking cigarettes, she told me to go home and tell my mother AND I DID! Like I said, she was my mom too. Love to all!

Well Grammy this makes it real doesn’t it?

You were such a wonderful person. You treated everyone with respect. I remember that you welcomed me and the kids when Jack was overseas and we traveled there to meet you without him. You were so gracious. You were so great to my son when you didn’t have to be. You loved your family above all else!

You lived a full life. You made some really gutsy moves in your life. A female going in the military alone was gutsy.

I am so glad that I stayed on Jack to call you every week until it became a habit and then I didn’t have to say anything any more. I am also glad he talked to you the day before he died at my insistence.

I love you Grammy! You were a wonderful mother in law! You will forever be on my mind and in my heart! And when that happens I always smile and I am sure you are smiling back!
