Her Christmas preparations were legendary. Norma was also very active and for a time employed at St. John the Evangelist Parish in North Chelmsford. Her faith was a central part of her life.

Norma is survived by her sister, Helen Leddy Butler of Nashua and six children, Richard, Janet, Kathryn and her husband Steve Leon, Jon and his wife Edna, Robert and his wife Kathleen, and Mary Ann and her husband Peter Lacey. She is also survived by 14 beloved grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, who added great joy to her final years. Norma is survived by many nieces and nephews and by her lifelong best friend, Virginia Kenney, with whom she enjoyed 83 years of friendship.

So sorry for the Gundersen family for your loss, Norma was an awesome person and church friend, every time she was at church it was like old home day, she couldn’t wait to tell me how she was doing and where’s she’s been. She always said my family has grown and how’s the time to visit. To my Special friend you will be sorely missed but Never forgotten, and I believe there will be a “Rocking Chair” in the manger at Christmas.
