Patricia A. Sweet, 84, of N. Chelmsford died Monday, January 2, 2017 at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Mildred Sweet. She graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1950 and from Lowell General Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Pat later earned a BS in Nursing from Boston College.
Pat worked as a Certified Nurse Practitioner.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
Pat enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Apple Country Club.
She volunteered in the local Food Pantries for many years.
Pat was a proud lifelong resident of N. Chelmsford.
She is survived by her brother, Mark and his wife, Julie Sweet of Tampa, FL and South Windsor, CT and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Robert Sweet, Nancy Keeffe, Janet Connors and Louise Sweet
There are no visiting hours. Funeral Sat. at 8A.M. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lowell. Memorials may be made in her name to the Chelmsford Senior Center, Meals on Wheels, 75 Groton Road, N. Chelmsford, MA 01863.
