Patricia A. (Westwood) Marchand, 78, of Westford died Friday January 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Lowell General Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of Raymond Marchand with whom she celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on August 14th.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Claire Westwood. She was raised in Chelmsford and graduated from Chelmsford High School with the Class of 1957.
Patricia worked as an Office Manager for her family’s business, Ray Marchand Oil Co. of Lowell. A resident of Westford, she and her husband were active members of the Westford Lion’s Club. She enjoyed doing puzzles, traveling and camping. Patricia loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a member of the North Chelmsford Congregational Church.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Cathy Marchand and her partner, Richard Shaw of Sarasota, FL and Dracut, MA and Debra Hudson of Littleton, MA; her son, Raymond “Rick” Marchand and his wife, Dawn of Townsend; her brother, Chandler Westwood and his wife, Kathy of Green Valley, AZ; her sister, Paula Webb and her husband, John “Jack” of Viera, FL; her mother in-law, Mary (Scobie) (Marchand) Rosnov of Dracut, MA; her best friend, Lillian Roberts of Hudson, NH; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was predeceased by her son in-law, David Hudson of Littleton, MA, her sister, Jacqueline Gravelle of Dunstable, MA and her grandson Chandler Ford.
At Pat’s request there will be no wake. Everyone is invited to meet for graveside services at 11:00 a.m. Friday Jan. 19, 2018 at the Hillside Cemetery, Westford.
