Patricia (Fantozzi) McGovern, 72, of N. Chelmsford, MA died Thursday afternoon, April 26, 2018 after a 5-year battle with dementia at Fairhaven Nursing Home in Lowell, MA.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of Michael Fantozzi of N. Chelmsford and the late Mary Fantozzi. She graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1963, and attended Andover Business School.
In her early years, she worked for Prince Packaging of Lowell. Patricia retired in 2007 from MCI Concord, after 30 years of service.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford. Patricia was a member of the Chelmsford High School Alumni Association. She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening and playing the guitar. She loved spending time with her family.
Besides her father, she is survived by her son, Michael McGovern of Chelmsford.
Visiting hours Mon. 4 to 7 P.M. Funeral Tues. at 8am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9am at St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford.
