Patrick John Keelan of Westford, MA

Patrick J. Keelan, 46, of Westford died surrounded by his loving family after a long illness at the Tufts NE Medical Center on Monday June 11, 2018.

Born in Lowell, he was the son of Nancy Keelan of Westford and the late Joseph A. Keelan. Patrick graduated from Westford Academy with the class of 1989. He attended Northeastern University and earned a BS in Finance from UMASS Lowell.

Patrick owned and operated the PK Construction Co. of Westford and was meticulous in his craftsmanship. He marveled at Nature and enjoyed gardening, woodworking, boating and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and his Golden Retriever, Ben.

He was a communicant of St. Catherine Church in Westford.

Besides his mother he is survived by his sister, Kathleen Kelly of S. Hadley, MA; nieces, Emma Haley Kelly and Kate Meghan Kelly of S. Hadley, MA; uncles William and his wife, Bonnie Nolan of Simpsonville, SC and Robert and his wife, Patricia Nolan of Detroit, MI; aunt, Carolyn Keelan Griffin of Murrells Inlet, SC and many cousins.

Visiting hours Wed. 3 to 7 P.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. A Mass of Christian burial will be Thurs. at 10A.M. at St. Catherine Church, Westford, MA.  Burial in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford, MA.  Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway Street, Lowell, MA 01854.
