Peter Chhoun of Lowell

Peter Chhoun, beloved son, brother, father, and friend, unexpectedly passed away on March 7, 2024, at his home. Born and raised in Long Beach, California, in 1989, Peter was the son of Soeun Chum and the late Mouk Chhoun.

In 1997, Peter relocated from Long Beach, California, to Lowell, Massachusetts, where he made his home. He was known for his unwavering dedication to his family and his compassionate nature, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Peter was a kind soul who found fulfillment in taking care of his loved ones.

Peter was cherished as an exceptional father by his son, Landon Chhoun. He is also survived by his father, Soeun Chum; brother, Tony Chum, brother John Chum; and sister, Rida Chum. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mouk Chhoun, as well as his brother, Rey Chum and sister, Youen Chum.

Peter will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his warmth, generosity, and the love he shared with those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
