Ralph W. Richardson, 83, of Tyngsboro died surrounded by his loving family at his home on Monday, July 10, 2017.
Born in Dracut, he was the son of the late Percy and Christena Richardson. He attended Greater Lowell Technical High School and the Graham School in Kansas City, MS for Veterinary studies.
He proudly served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Ralph was a self-employed dairy farmer, mechanic and welder. He worked for several farms in the Greater Lowell area most recently at Parlee Farm in Tyngsboro.
He was a member of the Massachusetts Farm Bureau and was involved with draft horses.
Ralph was an avid Red Sox fan and a proud lifelong resident of Tyngsboro.
He is survived by his daughters, Janet and her husband, Michael Renk of Tyngsboro and Susan and her husband, Charles Hillman of Chelmsford; brother, Daniel Richardson of Spring Hill FL; sister, Eleanor Silva of Nashua, NH; sister-in-law, Ida Richardson of Tyngsboro; grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband, Raymond Jarnagin, Melissa and her husband, Marc Tremblay, Michael Renk, Benjamin Hillman and his fiancé, Jamie Everett; four great grandchildren; and many step-grandchildren, great step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Special acknowledgement to his nephew George Richardson who was always like a son to him.
He was the brother of the late John Richardson, Harold Richardson, Edward Richardson and Pearl Richardson.

My condolences to the Richardson family. I grew up in Tyngsborough and was involved in town government. My family (Dixon) and the Richardson family have been farming in Tygnsborogh all their life.
