Although I never worked for Rev Noy when he was a Chelmsford Principal, I know how respected he was by his students. He was legendary for knowing all the names of the students in his care. He was a good man.

Mr. Noy was so welcoming every time I subbed at Westlands School in the late ’80’s. He made it so easy for me to feel comfortable. He was such a kind man.

To Mrs. Noy and your daughters; please accept my sincere condolences, in the passing of your beloved husband and father. It was my distinct pleasure to have known him; through the eloquence of his words, the sage advice he would gently offer, and the genuine nature of his kindness. And I am indebted to him for that kindness; he was gracious enough to have performed the eulogies at both of my parents’ funeral masses. Though, I am no longer a resident of Chelmsford; I will miss talking to him, as I would take the occasional neighborhood walk. He was a paragon for what a true gentleman should aspire to be. May he rest in Eternal Peace and may beautiful memories carry you all but well.

I had sent a message to him when I learned he was at Sunny Acres during the peak of COVID. I asked the staff to please let him know how much he was loved and respected. He was at Westland School during the time I was a student and I had never forgotten his kindness, love of students and ability to make each student feel special. Rest In Peace – you made a difference in so many lives. David Hedison

I am deeply saddened to learn of Mr. Noy’s passing. He was a very warm soft spoken man, and those qualities were essential during his tenure as principal of Westlands School. I became a volunteer in the library when my daughter was in the fifth grade, and thanks to Mr. Noy, that grew into a full time job that I enjoyed for 22 years.

Your dad was a truly loved friend of my father’s. They were principals together and remained very close for many years. Your father gave the eulogy at both my parent’s funerals and he was so very supportive to our family throughout the process. We cannot thank him and your mother enough for their kindness. He was a great man.
