Live Streaming Funeral Home And Cremations Westford MARichard Lorman, 90, a longtime resident of Tyngsboro, MA died Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Belvidere Healthcare Center, Lowell, MA.  Richard was a loving husband an adoring father and grandfather who was an incredible cookie maker.
Born in Worcester he was the son of the late Charles and Hazel Lorman. He attended Tyngsboro schools.
Richard retired in 1991 from Weston Country Club; where he worked as the superintendent and the grounds keeper. He was also a former police officer, selectman and assessor for the Town of Tyngsborough.
He was a member of the Tyngsboro Sportsmen’s Club and the Chelmsford Elks.
Richard’s passion for baking had him bringing cookies everywhere he went. He was known as the “Cookie Man”.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Charles Lorman of Peterborough, NH; daughters; Jane and her husband, Timothy Proulx of Nashua, NH, and Tina and her husband, David Hamolsky of Rindge, NH; brother, Fredrick Lorman of Nashua, NH; sister-in-law, Louise Lorman of Tyngsboro; four grandchildren, Ben, Jared, John and Ginny and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Charles, Gerald, and Wayne Lorman, and Ruth Kisley.

The family would like to thank the staff at both Chelmsford Crossing and Belvidere Health care for their tireless support.

    My condolences to the Lorman and Kisley family! I was Secretary to the Tyngsborough Board of Selectmen when Richard was a Selectman. He cared for his town very much! He was the greatest boss! Always thoughtful and kind! Another dedicated public servant gone!
