Richard “Skee” J. DeBrosky, 73, of Lowell, MA passed away peacefully on May 17, 2018 with friends and family by his side after a long battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by his wife, the late Betty Karen DeBrosky on April 9, 1998 after eighteen years of marriage.
Skee was born in Haverhill on October 5, 1944, to the late Richard and Mae DeBrosky. He was educated in the Haverhill school system.
He was a hard working painter.
Skee was a communicant of St. James Church in Haverhill.
Skee was a friend of Bill W. for twenty years, and has helped many people. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived and will be deeply missed by his son, Richard Christopher of Lowell; a stepson, Chris Wilson of Lowell; four grandchildren; two sisters, Gloria Vadeboncoeur of Haverhill and Linda and her husband, Richard Butler of Hampton, NH; his partner for five years, Claire Potvin of Lowell; his sponsor, Buddie and his wife, Carole Scott of Chelmsford and several nieces and nephews.

Wife and I lives downstairs from Skee…..Always say hello…always have kind words. when i have car issues..he tell me what to do and get..His car was next to me…This apartment Building will not be the same …..He is now In Peace..I am sure He will be painting in Heaven…Skee…thank you friend…
