Bob was one of my first supervisors at NOAA. He was a wonderful, thoughtful and kind man. I know that he helped one young man financially several times who he had befriended. He was a a mentor to me and was always there to help. Bob always talked lovingly of his family. Interestingly enough, out of the blue the other day, I started thinking about Bob. Maybe Bob was saying goodbye to his friends as he left for his next destination.

To Pat and family, sincere condolences. God bless – Joyce Lacerda
